Embodied Bellydance™ is an essential foundation for bellydancers of any genre.

Through visualisation and an insight into the workings of the body as a system,

participants are not instructed, so much as taken on a journey, to find the true source of movement.

The result is effortless, integrated and dynamic dance.

Body & Breath Awareness & Experiential Anatomy: Know you body as a whole, as the instrument that it is. Tune into the total support that your breath has to offer. Know the origin of movement, economize your dance.
Creative Visualization & Somatization: Lean to see & feel your body.
Technique: attune to the Curves, waves and spirals that support the dance and are present in all Universal life.
Dance Movement: Explore some fundamental Movements such as the Soft Feminine movement such as Circles , undulations and fig 8’s and the Sharp masculine movement such as hip walks, accents and Hagala. Experience how embracing Embodied Bellydance™ will take you to a freer and more economical way of moving and will improve you accents and shimmies.
Neo Traditional Egyptian Dance: An ancient dance presented in a contemporary way. One of the main roots of all Bellydance. See you this dance underpins your reference Bellydance style whether it be, Modern, Classical, Tribal, Tribal fusion and all the rest.
This Embodied Bellydance™ workshop is suitable for all levels of experience, from the complete beginner and to  dancers already training or teaching in a Bellydance genera.
A certificate of attendance will be presented to each participant at the end of the workshop. The certificate will count towards further training in Embodied Bellydance™.
Please note: Not every aspect of each category of the above will be covered in the 3.5 hours. (not enough time)  Notes will be sent to you via email as to what was covered after the workshop.
